Cribbage is a game that I played occasionally when I was a youngster and was then reintroduced to a few years ago. My wife’s family friends reminded me how to play while on our annual trip to Shasta Lake. As a thank you to them, I made my first cribbage board out of Apricot wood. Since then I’ve made a number of boards out of various types of wood from trees that I would cut down in my own backyard or purchase from a local hardwood lumber company. I’ve decided to convert the wider staves of a wine cask into cribbage boards by sanding and drilling the wood, rubbing it with oil and providing you with your choice of pegs. Not only will these cribbage boards provide you hours of playing enjoyment, but I encourage you to display it as the centerpiece of your coffee table.

To order a custom cribbage board not on my web site, please contact me and specify the type of wood you prefer, number of players (2-4) and type of pegs (Brass, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Copper and Black Steel). I will reply with a quote and photo of wood.

Please inquire about engraving.

Although most items will have a distinct red wine stain, some products may have
more or less intensity. Additionally, markings and or brands will differ from product to
product due to the age of the cask, procurement and date it was retired from use.
No two products will be the same due to the differences between wine casks.
That is what makes my products so unique!

Slight separation between staves, due to natural wood dehydration, may occur over time
